Friends of Amma Belgium

Friends of Amma is a non-profit institution that supports Amma’s humanitarian activities in Belgium. Since 1999, many friends have mainly been supporting the housing project in India (Amrita Koetiram) financially.

We can keep you informed of the following topics by sending you different (electronic) newsletters (only in Dutch):

• Amma’s European tour
• Amma’s Centre: current messages about the activities and functioning of the centre.
• Amrita Koetiram: house-building projects for the poor, among other things tsunami victims, and reports on visits to Amma’s projects.

The centre

The house has a surface of about 300 m², garden included.
The renovations have been completed in the early part of 2006.
There is a large meditation room, a library and an administrative office.

The house is located in rural Tielrode, a borough of Temse, 20 km from Antwerp, 35 km from Brussels and 35 km from Ghent. The premises are adjacent to the vast scenic area of the  Durme and Schelde valleys, an oasis of peace for hikers and bikers.
